Sarah Kravitz was established in Warsaw in 2015, before relocating to the heart of London in 2018, Sarah Kravitz Gallery is located in Soho Square, and supports artists ranging from emerging talents to those in the mid-stage of their careers. They’ve built strong relationships with up-and-coming gallerists and curators from around the world. Through these collaborations, they note worthy exhibitions and spotlight artists who are on the verge of gaining international recognition.
The gallery’s programming include a wide range of disciplines, from music, film, contemporary art, and design. The objective of the gallery is to create a gallery experience that appeals to a broad spectrum of art driven audiences.
Where design depth meets commerce
Central to the website’s appeal is the inclusion of detailed artist profiles for each artist represented by the London gallery. Michèle Victoria (M&V) ensured the profiles were visually engaging, allowing visitors to delve into the backgrounds, inspirations, and portfolios of the artists.
The site’s simple yet elegant design, was mainly designed around the need to showcase both solo exhibitions and group shows. These highly visual sections serve as a virtual gallery, allowing visitors to navigate through current, upcoming, and past exhibitions with ease. The immersive content, high-resolution images and detailed exhibition narratives, ensure that each artist’s vision is fully conveyed. We aimed to bridge the gap between physical and digital art spaces, making the gallery’s diverse and rich artistic offerings accessible to their global audience.
The addition of the print shop allows art enthusiasts to purchase prints, books, zines and smaller works directly from the website. The e-commerce store features a curated selection of artworks, with detailed descriptions and easy navigation, ensuring that each transaction is as informative and engaging as the rest of the site.
Michèle Victoria (M&V) took the lead as the website developer for this project, bringing our web development expertise into play. We tackled the development project head-on, focusing on creating a user-friendly and visually appealing website for the Sarah Kravitz Gallery. Our work involved everything from planning to the final touches of the website development, ensuring the site was easy to use and looked great. Michèle Victoria (M&V)’s dedication to simplicity and quality in web development shone through, making the gallery’s new online home a standout project.
